Hugh Jackman flexes muscles on Japanese TV

Hugh Jackman showed off his bulging muscles on Japanese TV ... by doing pushups with a presenter on his back!

The X-Men star appeared on Tokyo morning show Sukkiri where he revealed secrets about the sequel to Wolverine, which is to be filmed in the Far East. Jackman, 40, told the hosts of the show that he will get fit for his films by using his two children Ava Eliot, 4, and Oscar Maximillian, 9, as weights for his tough workout regime. "This is what I do with my children, I get them to stand on my back," he said. Jackman then did several reps with giggling reporter Mari Sekine kneeling on his back. The Hollywood heart-throb said he travelled with his family to Japan for the final leg of his worldwide tour to promote X-Men Origins: Wolverine – which premieres this week in Japan – and to start research work on the sequel to be set in the Land Of The Rising Sun. "Our script at the moment is set in Japan," Jackman said. "The most famous Wolverine comic book was set in Japan so we want to do it here. It's the movie I always wanted to do with Wolverine."
