Sigh... to wear mini-shorts and make them look totally normal. Wouldn't this be great?! Jessica Szohr was recently spotted hanging out in New York wearing a pair of adorable shorts in a bright design, and I'm going to try to tighten things up like her.
Fitness magazine recently ran an interesting toning tip article on getting ready for bikini season, and I think it could apply to my "Jessica Szohr shorts syndrome." Here's what they recommend for toning up in three days.
Morning: Do 40 minutes of two kinds of cardio with high intensity, like 20 minutes on the elliptical and 20 minutes on the treadmill.
Afternoon: Do 30 minutes of cardio like running or biking.
Diet: Consume 1,400 calories/day, including lean protein, fruits, and veggies. Avoid sugary stuff and packaged foods.
If we break up our workouts into two sessions, we'll see that it's easier to burn calories all day long, helping to ensure tightness and toneness. Are you on board, or does this sound too extreme?
