Yes, sex is great but can it pay your bills, buy you that dress you’ve been eyeing, or research a recipe for triple-chocolate cake?

Harris Interactive surveyed 2,119 adults last month and found that 49% of women ages 18 to 35 were willing to forgo the horizontal mambo for two weeks, if it meant they could keep their internet privileges. That’s half of the women questioned!

But really, we’re not surprised. Women are practical - the internet is practical. And this survey really isn’t fair because most women rely on the internet for work purposes. We don’t care how much you like sex, we bet you like a roof over your head and food on your plate better.

And if you thought men loved sex more than anything (we did), you were wrong. Almost half of guys surveyed said that they'd give up sex for six months - that’s half a year of celibacy - in return for a 50-inch plasma TV.

Now that’s dedication.
