Introducing the Pizzabon, Cinnabon's New Savory Treat

Now You Can Have a Whole Meal at Cinnabon

No longer will Cinnabon be the place you go just for a snack (a deliciously gooey, buttery, sugary, cinnamon-y snack); thanks to a new menu item, Cinnabon will be one-stop shopping for your whole lunch or dinner.

That new menu item: the Pizzabon, an item that is exactly what it sounds like, with pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni atop the delicious dough-y goodness of the Cinnabon.

The new menu item is just one of a new line of products the company is rolling out in an effort to boost its business.

Since the Cinnabon, while great, often only comes to mind when people are looking for a treat, the company wants to draw customers to their stores for a whole meal.

"In this day and age, it is incredibly important" to diversify, the executive director of the Georgia Restaurant Association told AJC.com. "If consumers are making the trip to your establishment, you want them to find everything they want in one place. You've got to innovate to satisfy the demands of old customers and to create some new ones."

Other new options on the Cinnabon menu will include croissants, cupcakes, apple danish, breakfast sandwiches and iced coffee drinks.

Sadly, most of us will have to wait a bit to sample the new goods; the Pizzabon and the other new foods are being tried out at a Cinnabon store in the Cumberland Mall in Atlanta before they're rolled out nationally.
