Is Jake Pavelka Gay?

Why did Bachelor Jake Pavelka dump his fiancee Vienna Girardi? We reported Thursday morning that Jake chalked the split up to "trust issues," and he also said the romance was getting in the way of his TV career. Vienna, however, has said that Jake is not "into girls"...really?

Our pals at Hollywood Life (via our other pals at Radar) say that an insider close to Vienna confessed, "Vienna told me, ‘I don't think Jake is into girls.'" Just because we've seen Jake cry on TV, behave as a sensitive American male and operate with morals doesn't mean he's gay!

There's also this: we heard that in the six months since Jake and Vienna have been engaged, he has not shown Vienna any affection or intimacy (this is per Vienna's stepmother). Furthermore, Jake told Vienna that he wished not to engage in sexual intercourse due to his "religious beliefs." It sounds like Vienna, who's a former Hooters waitress and who has posed nude at least once in the past, found Jake's religious virtues to be a joke...and again, Jake's keeping sex for marriage might not be conventional, but it doesn't exactly constitute homosexuality.

If Vienna's people are baiting this rumor about Jake being gay to the press as revenge, shame on them. Homosexuality is a reality for millions of people, and it's not meant to be mud-slung as an insult between two reality TV wannabe stars who turned on their romance for red carpets. Maybe now that her reality reign is behind her (she's still wearing the diamond, what a joke), Vienna Girardi will do something meaningful...like, read a book.
