America may have to start rethinking it's fascination with Morgan Freeman. The 74 year-old Shawshank Redemption actor and Hollywood's favorite voice of wisdom is reportedly dating his 29 year-old step-granddaughter.

A family insider has said Morgan and E'dena Miles were planning to wed as soon as he divorced his wife, whom reportedly left him after finding out about his affair with the young woman.

Rumors of the spring-autumn romance popped up a couple years ago shortly after Morgan got into a car accident with her in the vehicle. According to reports, he and Miles had been maintaining a sexual relationship for at least ten years ... since she was just 17.

"Morgan has led her to believe that he wants to marry her," the insider told the Enquirer in 2009. Another source said, "Becoming Mrs. Morgan Freeman has been E'Dena's goal."

Obviously that hasn't happened yet, though rumors still persist that the pair are keeping their relationship secret due to the (understandable) damage it would unleash on Morgan's reputation.

Still, this got us thinking: Why is it that older women in the entertainment world find themselves under a microscope and at the center of cougar jokes (think Madonna, Demi More), when a guy like Morgan Freeman seems to have his pick of very young girls and people still call him one of the most trusted celebs in Hollywood?

Is it because he's the voice of God?
