We also told you all about Robert Pattinson's role...and Elephants insiders are saying that Rob could very well see an Oscar nod for this performance.

HollywoodLife reports that Christoph Waltz, Oscar-winner for his supporting role in Inglourious Basterds and Pattinson's nemesis in Water for Elephants, is hinting that Rob's work in the film is outstanding. A reporter recently asked Waltz where he keeps his Oscar, and the actor responded, "It's in my house, but the way things are looking, I might have to hand it off to Rob next year!"

Another Water for Elephants insider, who refused to be named, said that Robert Pattinson is definitely turning heads and making a name for himself beyond Twilight in this role. The source said this: "This movie is going to be amazing, and you're going to see Rob in a completely different way, a good way ... It wouldn't surprise me at all if he were to receive an Oscar nod for this role!"
