Whitney Port Is Single Again

Are reality shows the death-knell for relationships? Whitney Port's broken up with her new boyfriend Freddy Fackelmayer, confirmed the show's executive producer Liz Gately, so we'll be watching things play out for Whitney in the new season. Ug! Do you think this is mostly why Lauren Conrad gracefully made her exit from The Hills? Reality shows are the worst for couples.

Whitney told PEOPLE that "It's really hard to have a relationship on camera because you have so many opinions coming in and out, and it takes away some of the mystery in a relationship. I don't necessarily think that it's a curse. I think there are some relationships that had to have lasted."

I don't think anyone's wondering if Whitney will find a new man, though. . . somebody always rolls around.
