It's Thunder and Lightning- Song of the Day

I just recently discovered We Were Promised Jetpacks and was psyched to listen to their album that just came out yesterday. I'm a sucker for any band with a creative name. Not to mention, any band from Scotland.

I inititally had a big interest in We Were Promised Jetpacks because I absolutely love their name. Then I learned they were from Scotland and when I gave them a listen, I realized how much they sound like Frightened Rabbit, another favorite band of mine.

Their new album, These Four Walls, is the kind of album you can listen to at any time, no matter what you're doing. The songs vary from louder to quieter, showing the band's full range.

"It's Thunder and Lightning" is the album's opening track and sets up the rest of the music perfectly. And you should give the song a listen if you want an idea about who We Were Promised Jetpacks is. I have a feeling you'll fall in love with their accents.
