Baby drama!

Here's just one more reason kids shouldn't be having kids. Though, of course, plenty of adults go through these things too. But we knew it wasn't going to be a good thing when Jamie Lynn Spears got pregnant at 16. And now she's going through a custody battle.

Though we had a feeling it wouldn't happen, we had a slight hope that Jamie Lynn Spears and baby daddy Casey Aldridge really were each other's soulmates. And they would get married, raise their baby, and live happily ever after together. But really, how often do you meet your soulmate at age 16? And Jamie and Casey just weren't meant to be.

Jamie Lynn is now dating a man 10 years older than her. And Casey Aldridge's family is urging him to seek custody of their daughter Maddie. Oh, and they also might just want a piece of the Spears fortune. And guess who they're using as a role model? None other than the lovely Kevin Federline!

According to a source, "His mom was overheard saying that if Casey wants financial stability, then he should fight for custody so Jamie Lynn would have to pay him child support. His family told him he could be another Kevin Federline and rake in the cash by being a stay-at-home dad!"

Casey doesn't really want a big court case, but he does want money. And it's being said that Jamie Lynn would be willing to fork over some money to keep him away. The source says, "...Casey is paying attention to his family's advice, but he also feels that maybe be should just let Jamie Lynn and Maddie be. Money is a driving factor, and he's weak when it comes to his mom and what she tells him to He's really torn."

Tough one, eh? Whatever ends up happening, let's hope baby Maddie can be left out of it as much as possible and grow up with a relatively stable life.
