Jay-Z needs more money for his little princess. The rapper and businessman's clothing company, Rocawear, reportedly fired HALF of its staff earlier this month, just a day before Jay-Z and Beyonce's daughter Blue Ivy was born.

According to the New York Department of Labor, Roc Apparel Group, LLC, laid off 28 of its 56 employees on January 6. The company said the layoffs were due to "economic" reasons.
Then, just 24 hours later, the hip hop star welcomed a baby girl named Blue Ivy with his wife Beyonce. Jay-Z is rumored to have spent well over $1 million to rent a whole floor of the New York hospital where Beyonce gave birth.

The "Empire State of Mind" rapper is also rumored to have spent lavishly on toys and furnishings for the kid, including a windmill playhouse and a solid gold rocking horse.
The hip hop star, who recently vowed to stop using the word "bi*ch" in all of his songs, has a net worth of approximately $450 million.
