Like a virgin?

One of our favorite designers is taking things to the next layer. Layer of clothing, that is. Jean Paul Gaultier is teaming up with luxury lingerie brand La Perla to design a line of lingerie that reminds us quite a bit of Madonna.

John Paul Gaultier never fails to make us happy. From his totally affordable collection at Target to his upcoming line with La Perla, we want just about everything he designs. But how do we feel about the pieces in his new La Perla collection, his first-ever lingerie collection? Well, they're definitely different from the typical lingerie! In fact, we can totally see Madonna in a few of the pieces.

And it makes sense, too, considering Jean Paul Gaultier was the designer of Madonna's cone bra! His collection with La Perla will contain 27 different pieces, from corsets to bras to bodysuits. And yes, WWD is confirming that the collection will contain a cone-shaped bra! Would you rock it?

JPG says in a press release, "Lingerie is part of my DNA and of my heritage... In my latest prêt-à-porter collection I revisited the conical bras and corsets worn as outerwear. This collaboration was a natural and logical step, especially since La Perla is the pearl of the lingerie, with the best savoir faire." We just love the idea that lingerie can be a part of someone's DNA!

We don't have to worry too much about whether or not we would wear the lingerie as it's a bit out of our budget. The line will run from $600 to $1,200. Jean Paul Gaultier with La Perla will launch this November.

Several small manufacturers were producing Sheepskin Boots by the 1970's in Australia's largest west coast city, Perth. With a climate similar to that of Southern California, Perth is also a mecca for surfies, as the Aussies call surfers, boasting well-known surfing sites at nearby Margaret River. The local Aussie surfing community was the first to adopt Ug Boots as their favorite footwear, and Ugs came to symbolize the surfie lifestyle in Australia.
