Jennifer Aniston, John Mayer Dating Again?

Mayer interview hints at Aniston reunion.

John Mayer's gone emo again, clearly trading his snarky voice in interviews for the more sensitive tone that made college girls love him a decade ago. After a concert last weekend sources have Mayer saying that he and a certain ex have paired back up...check out the buzz that he and Jennifer Aniston are back together.

John Mayer has dated celebrity sirens like Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Simpson and, of course, Jennifer Aniston. In the last two years the pair have gone on-and-off twice with breakups and reunions...and sources are saying that last Sunday Mayer was performing at the Hollywood Bowl in L.A., where Jennifer Aniston was reportedly looking on from a privileged perch in the crowd and that she and Mayer couldn't take their eyes off of each other.

Sources are quoting John Mayer saying at his concert last week (and suggesting he targeted the comment at Jennifer Aniston):

"I believe in second chances. You might have been a pain in the a*s the last time around, but you can still start over again from home base. Next time you get a text from the one you love just text back 'come over' -- no matter what happened in the past. If you really love someone, just tell them and be with them."

Meanwhile Mayer says it isn't so. On his Tumblr account late this week Mayer posted a very clear response to Huffington Post's report reading, JOHN MAYER SLAMS HUFFPO: "GO F**K YOURSELF!"

Mayer says Huffington Post misquoted him, that he didn't say he believes in second chances...and this:

"The reason I'm calling you out instead of all the other magazines that make stories up out of thin air is that In Touch and Star Magazine aren't concurrently writing pieces about [serious world news]. Those other rags know who they are, and even if they're obnoxious, I'd rather have to live with them because they (and the rest of the world) know where they stand, which doesn't make them one tenth as dangerous as you are. You're a stripper wearing reading glasses. Or maybe you're an insolvent law student willing to dance for a few extra dollars. Either way, it's uncomfortable to watch you try to wrap yourself around a pole when you have that C-Span scar." [sic]
