Courteney Cox has spoken about the possibility of pal Jennifer Aniston making an appearance in her new show Cougar Town. The 45-year-old actress is starring in the new ABC TV series, which follows a woman in her 40s dating younger men.

Aniston, 40, is currently starring in a movie called Pumas, which tells the story of two women in their 30s looking for men. Talking about the plot similarities, Cox said: "I did know about her movie. I'm not sure exactly what the storyline is other than it's probably a woman. And I guess pumas are in their 30s. Isn't that right? Pumas are in their 30s? Jaguars are in their 50s, and sabretooths go right into the 60s." She also talked about a possible role for Aniston on her show: "She's a good friend and I know she loves the show. I'm not going to say she is [going to do it] because I don't know. [But if Bill Lawrence] writes her a character, I'm sure she'll be glad to do it."
