Jennifer Aniston Narrates Sequel to Loukoumi's Good Deeds
Loukoumi's Gift
We do love ourselves some Jennifer Aniston: call us super fans if you must, but quite a few of us here at LimeLife like to know what's on her professional plate. Besides her usual routine of gorgeous photoshoots and filming, she's helping out with an important project to benefit a cause dear to our hearts.
Jennifer Aniston has lent her voice to another charitable project, this time as part of the sequel to Loukoumi's Good Deeds. Loukoumi's Gift, narrated by Jennifer and John Aniston, officially released this week, with proceeds benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Just in time for holiday gifting with a conscience!
The project, which also features Food Network's Iron Chef Cat Cora, CSI: NY star Melina Kanakaredes, Olympia Dukakis, Gloria Gaynor, Constantine Maroulis, and Guiding Light's Frank Dicopoulos, encourages children to do a good deed after reading it. We heard that over 10,000 kids have done something for friends, family, or their community after reading this book, and we're looking forward to seeing how many more participate once the sequel is gifted nation-wide.
.
Loukoumi's Gift by Nick Katsoris is all about the adventures of Loukoumi and her friends Gus the Bear, Fistiki the Cat, Dean the Dog, and Marika the Monkey, and is dedicated to and inspired by Daisy Waddy, a cleaning woman from Queens who presented the author with a pair of gold cuff links simply because he greeted her every morning when he came to the office.
If you're stumped for a gift, what's better than a feel-good one that inspires children? Not many!
