Jennifer Aniston Ready For "Great Man" And Family
Jennifer Aniston reveals her truest heart's desire.
With tabloids criticizing her "showmance" with Gerard Butler on the red carpet to promote The Bounty Hunter, Jennifer Aniston is getting real. She's told a reporter what she wants next in her life...and it sounds like something most of us can relate to.
At the London premiere of The Bounty Hunter this week, Jennifer Aniston told the U.K.'s Daily Mirror that while she's suffered heartbreak over the illusion of love in the past, she's ready for the real thing. "I've had some wonderful experiences," Aniston said. "I hope I've reached a point where I'm ready to enjoy being with a great man and having a family together. That's always been my dream."
Aniston says that for many women, our standards for our partners are a bit reaching...but what would happen if we began accepting men a little more as they are?"We're all a lot more complicated," Aniston says in reference to contemporary women. "We've also become more wary and more demanding, maybe. Men and women are developing higher expectations and sometimes that creates too much pressure because your partner is not always going to be everything you want."
What does Jennifer Aniston think is the solution to finding happiness? "We have to learn to appreciate our differences and enjoy the fact that we all evolve differently over time. If you're open to that, it can beinteresting and you can make that part of your journey together. Relationships are not static things. You have to keep communicating and trying to understand your partner." (Still, guys should check out our story on things that turn women off!)
