Because everyone knows first dates are basically interviews, they're expecting it to be surface-ey with a lot of Q/A about whatever.

Second dates are when the real "are we or aren't we" happens. So, here are some tips on what to do and not do on your second date:

DO THIS: Ask safe but revealing questions, like does he have a tattoo and why he got it.
DON'T DO THIS: Dump all your problems on him, unless you want to look unlucky in love and life.

DO THIS: Dress in an "approachable, yet sexy" outfit, not like his grungy twin.
DON'T DO THIS: Ask him about all his ex-es or talk about yours. Buzzkill!

DO THIS: Compliment something you genuinely like about the guy.
DON'T DO THIS: Pick up the bill, unless you want to pay every time.
