Jennifer Lopez Hosts Dinner for Sonia Sotomayor
Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony recently hosted a dinner in honour of the first Latina Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, according to reports. The 40-year-old actress held the get-together at the couple's home in Long Island, New York.
It is claimed that the dinner was held following a cocktail party that was attended by around a dozen people, who were mainly from political backgrounds. There was no comment on the dinner party from either Lopez or Anthony. Sotomayor, 55, was nominated for the new position by President Barack Obama and was recently sworn in. Lopez not only shares Puerto Rican heritage with Sotomayor but they also both grew up in the Bronx, in New York.
