Jennifer Love Hewitt headed out onto the tennis court while vacationing with Jamie Kennedy, and not only was she wearing a bikini, but a pair of ridiculously high platforms with just a slip-on strap. Would you wield a raquet wearing just a bikini? We're not so sure that's a good idea.

Here's the deal: it's awesome to slip into a bikini and feel awesome, but it's quite another to be wearing your suit when you're competing in sports. Here are some tips on looking sexy, not silly, and still protecting your body from the harmful effects of high-impact sports.

*Wear a halter. Jennifer Love Hewitt made a beginner's mistake with her strappy swimsuit. An underwire bikini top complete with thick halter straps keep things in place and prevents stretched muscles that can lead to sagging. The same goes for athletic tops and exercise shirts: if you need support, go for the halter!

*Take care of your feet. It almost goes without saying that you should be able to run comfortably, but I guess that Jennifer Love Hewitt wasn't really thinking. Look for a cute pair of sneakers--there's enough out there that you won't have problems picking out a coordinating pair.

*Be body-friendly. Capris, bootcut pants, shorts, running skirts. . . you have plenty of options. Even if Jennifer Love Hewitt were just on the beach, I'd say that she could've picked something more flattering.

Man, what I wouldn't give to style her up in a simple sports skirt, a halter sports bra, and sports shoes, plus sunnies!
