Jessica Alba's been staying away from reporters, and that means I like her again. She might be a mediocre interview, but she can be a heck of a dresser/beauty maven if she puts her mind to it. Can you believe she's a mom? Let's get the look!

Jessica Alba donned a sparkling dress with a hint of Dynasty to it, but what we couldn't get over was her dedication to natural coloring. She played up her cinnamon skin without looking orange, she rocked the eyeliner, and she went for a natural lip. Love, love, and love.

First, we have to address what we didn't like, because there's one thing wrong with Alba's look here: ashy knees! I am dying to pass the girl some cocoa butter or Vaseline just looking at the pics. But besides that (and the shoulder pads)? Perfection.

We've been saying that Drew Barrymore might want to consider running a brush through her hair, and she should also look to Jessica Alba for inspiration. She does piecey, messy hair perfectly, which a ton of shine. How? Try 100% air drying with mousse worked in when damp, no combs, brushes, or rollers allowed. To get your hair looking shinier, you might want to consider trading off between four or five different shampoos in the shower. Mixing it up will leave your hair sleek, and they don't need to be expensive products, either!

Alba's spiced-up lip color is just another sublime touch. If you want to usher in fall without appearing like you've turned your entire look upside down, look for a thicker, creamier lip color in an inspiring close-to-natural shade. Pair with winged-eyeliner eyes and a tiny bit of bronzer for early fall.
