Jessica Simpson Gifts Deserving Teens with Prom Dresses

Come on, guys; it's time to give Jessica Simpson a little bit of credit. My eyes were seriously tearing up when I watched her gift deserving teen girls with prom dresses they otherwise wouldn't be able to afford.

We all know how Oprah likes to hook her audience and unsuspecting guests up with fun stuff. And on her final "Harpo's Hookups" show, Jessica Simpson joined her to offer seven teens, who have been in and out of foster care, a really special gift. And the video is really touching.
The seven students were from an arts high school in Jacksonville, Florida, and their fashion teacher wrote to Oprah because she knew none of the girls could afford their own prom dresses. Oprah invited them to the show, where Jessica Simpson let them pick out their own prom dress, shoes, and accessories from her own lines.
The teens all looked beautiful and many got emotional after receiving their gift. And that wasn't all Jessica did. After the girls modeled their prom looks for the show, Oprah informed them they'd all be getting new clothing wardrobes from Jessica Simpson.

OK fine. You could argue that Jessica Simpson was just in this for the publicity. I mean, she did get to show off her new line of prom dresses on Oprah's show. Which is pretty huge for her. But still, I'm going to believe she did it out of the own goodness of her heart.
