Jessica Simpson's Glad Daisy Dukes Days Are Gone
She's confident in her skin.
Jessica Simpson made an appearance on KIIS FM with Ryan Seacrest this week, and thanks to her new show The Price of Beauty on VH1, she's been talking a lot about her body image, and how the media treated her after she gained some weight.
Of course, the infamous Chili Cookoff came up when Jessica Simpson talked about her weight.
"I was embarrassed. I didn't want to show my face," she said while on Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show Tuesday.
"I was touring with the Rascal Flatts at the time and had to get on stage every day and kind of just face it and hope to God I wasn't wearing an unflattering outfit ... Obviously, I didn't look like Daisy Duke."
Jessica, who is either a size 4 or 6 depending on the season, said that "I just feel comfortable in my own skin," especially after learning about beauty all over the world on her new show.
What's the other topic that's just as popular as the weight issue? John Mayer! Jessica also mentioned the Playboy interview, saying that she supports her commentary on Oprah about her ex-boyfriend.
"You can only just hope that somebody that you have cared about for a really long time can keep the intimate things intimate," she told Seacrest, adding "Like I said on Oprah, it could've been a lot worse."
Now if only an interviewer will throw Jessica Simpson a real curveball or something! I don't think that John Mayer and jeans sizes are going to cut it for the next couple of months.
