Jim Carrey: Robert Pattinson "Is The Undead"
Jim Carrey comes off more psycho than funny in interview.
Everybody wants a piece of the Twilight action, funnyman Jim Carrey included. In interviews promoting his lead role as Ebenezer Scrooge in the upcoming Disney version of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, Carrey has said that if there's one thing he and Scrooge have in common, it's a loathing for Robert Pattinson.
When reporters asked Carrey what his biggest Scrooge-like tendency was, the forty-seven-year-old actor answered, "I'm generally a live and let live sort of person but I have to tell you - I'm not only here to help present this film but to drive a stake through Robert Pattinson's heart."
In the Q&A Carrey maximized his chance at search engine optimization, adding this about the highly-googled Robert Pattinson: "He is the undead, people." (We hope so - Rob's new Vanity Fair cover makes us hope he lives forever. Check out the amazing pics!) Then it's said Carrey broke into an impression of Robert Pattinson playing a vampire.
Carrey's Scrooge will see his bigscreen release this Friday, November 6, two weeks before Twilight's New Moon explosion hits theaters. By the way, Jim Carrey is known for ripping on Robert Pattinson - check out the hilarious Twilight mention Jim Carrey delivered at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.
