Where's his purity ring?

Joe Jonas hasn't been wearing his purity ring! Eagle-eyed Jonas fans at Life & Style noticed that he's been sticking to other accessories since he started dating Ashley Greene. Was he convinced to ditch his purity ring because he had such a hot girlfriend?

The tabloids pulled out photographic evidence that Joe Jonas dumped his purity ring, which he had been sporting with his other brothers for years. Now it sounds like Nick Jonas is the last one left, because Kevin obviously dropped his purity reminder when he got hitched.

Joe had previously said that the ring "promises to ourselves and to God that we'll stay pure till marriage." Um, oops?

I don't have any problem with Joe changing his mind about the ring. Plenty of teens/youths/whatever make decisions like that, and then change their mind. What does suck for Joe Jonas is that he was so vocal about it, and now he'll be criticized for being normal and changing.

I'm also curious about how Demi Lovato, his ex-girlfriend, feels. Assuming that they weren't doing what I think he and Ashley Greene are doing, I wonder if she feels cheated somehow, or maybe jealous that Ash got dibs. I always assumed that Joe Jonas broke her heart, and that she's had a hard time getting over him even though she's "moving on."

What do you think about purity rings and Hollywood? Are they a healthy combination? I'd prefer not to know the status of any celebupeen, personally.
