John Edwards Proposes To Mistress Rielle Hunter
Plus he's buying $3.5 million home for them to live.
Rielle Hunter continues taking a big gamble, as it's just hit the press that former presidential candidate and high-profile philanderer John Edwards has asked his longtime mistress Rielle Hunter to marry him just two weeks after his separation from his wife was announced.
Rielle Hunter, 45, and John Edwards, 56 have a toddler daughter together, and Edwards confessed to his role in the paternity scandal this past January 21. The following week, Edwards announced that he and his wife of 32 years, Elizabeth, were divorcing.
And just when we thought Rielle Hunter had gone under the radar, she's flown back on in a big way. It's said that John Edwards proposed to Rielle Hunter on January 21, just minutes before he announced that he was the father of her baby to the media. It's said John Edwards is waiting for his divorce to finalize before he buys Rielle a ring, and right now he's splashing out on a $3.5 million beachfront house in North Carolina for them to move in together with their daughter Frances.
The news of John Edwards' longing to be a family with Rielle Hunter and their daughter comes as a surprise, because as we recently reported, he'd demanded that Rielle get an abortion when she got pregnant.
