He sees a lot of let-downs in their future

Australians all seem to be in shock that Britney Spears was caught lip-synching at a recent concert. In fact, over 100 concert-goers walked out, they were so disappointed in the show. We don't mean to be rude, but really? You're surprised Britney was lip-synching? John Mayer agrees with us.

We simply assumed everyone knew Britney Spears lip-synched at her shows. But clearly some Australian concert-goers had no idea this was the case. Some of them even want their money back! One concert-goer said, "It was so impersonal. She did not interact with her audience. There were no big TV screens projecting the action, so if you didn't know Britney, you might have even doubted it was her... I want my money back or I want her to sing properly. The ticket cost me $200 and she lip-synched the whole thing."

We have no idea what kind of concert they were expecting, and John Mayer isn't so sure either. He wrote on his Twitter account, "If you're shocked that Britney was lip-syncing at her concert and want your money back, life may continue to be hard for you." And we completely agree!

We highly doubt you'll ever attend a Britney concert where she's not lip-synching, unless you want her just standing still with no dancing involved. Allegedly, Britney is quite embarrassed that fans are so disappointed, but really? There's nothing she can do about it. While we've heard people joke about her, we don't think we've ever heard anyone who was surprised Britney Spears lip-synched.

Do you think Australian fans should get there money back? Or is John Mayer right that they need to wake up or life will be tough for them?
