Johnny Depp Would Love To Play The Riddler

Johnny Depp says he would love to play Batman villain The Riddler. The 46-year-old actor stars alongside Batman star Christian Bale in the new true crime film Public Enemies.

Speaking from the red-carpet, Depp said he was a fan of Batman and would welcome the chance to work with Bale again. "I've been asked about that, here and there," Depp said. "I'd love to do another film with Christian in any capacity, whether it's a Batman thing or whatever it is. I certainly love the series." In Public Enemies, Depp plays notorious bank robber John Dillinger, and Bale plays Melvin Purvis, an FBI agent working to put Dillinger behind bars. Oscar-winning actress Marion Cotillard plays Depp's love interest in the film.
