Jon Gosselin Apologizes To Hailey Glassman, Kate & Kids

Hailey Glassman's "mantrums" revelation spurs Jon Gosselin remorse.

Thursday we learned that Hailey Glassman claimed Jon Gosselin is emotionally abusive, that he takes out his divorce frustration on her and tells lies. Hailey said she stays with him because she loves him, even though his "mantrums" hurt her terribly.

Jon Gosselin is trying to respond as gracefully as possible. This weekend he'll publicly apologize in a Jewish synagogue to the people whom he has hurt with his wreckless behavior over the last few months. He has also come forward to say the following in reference to Hailey's recent statements to the press:

"My girlfriend, Hailey Glassman, has paid a significant price to live under such a media microscope," Gosselin told CBS's The Insider, which aired an interview with Hailey Glassman Thursday night.

"I am grateful for her emotional support and regret any pain my actions caused as she has selflessly born the pressures I have endured under the media glare."

"I am committed to making things right with Hailey as well as Kate and especially my children. I ask you to please give me the opportunity to prove myself."
