But, says Kate: too little, too late.

All Jon & Kate Plus 8's Kate Gosselin wanted out of Saturday's arbitration hearing with estranged husband Jon Gosselin was for their marriage to be ovah...which is why Jon's shocking olive branch in the form of a bouquet of roses didn't go over quite as lovingly as Jon must've hoped.

Jon and Kate Gosselin showed up to court Saturday morning and participated in a five-and-a-half hour arbitration over division of goods, wealth and custody of their eight children. It's reported that the hearing was set to continue until Monday, but you know Kate Gosselin: she's efficient. Apparently Jon and Kate hustled through all the agenda items, and their marriage is expected to be dissolved by the end of the year.

We have to hand Jon Gosselin some credit: what soon-to-be-ex-husband shows up in court carrying a bouquet of long-stemmed roses? It's not clear what Jon was hoping to achieve with the gesture, but Kate didn't respond quite as he'd planned. She left the roses sitting when she exited the courtroom, reportedly laughing and saying, "It's laughable. Talk about too little, too late!"

So wait, Jon Gosselin's back from partying in Hawaii? Yep, and it looks like he's trying to turn things around after he told Kate she needs to "pull the stick out."

Jon & Kate Plus 8's last episode airs Monday, November 23. A rep for TLC says that Kate is working on a new series which will debut in early spring.
