Jon Gosselin: I Thought I Was Taking My Paycheck Out
Our favorite line from this story: "I don't know what's going on."
Jon Gosselin sat down with Entertainment Tonight to reveal the outcome of the hearings he and estranged wife Kate have had with their divorce lawyers. Jon admits he did breach an agreement that allowed neither one of them to access funds from a joint bank account, but it's not as much as the court said.
Jon, who was caught on camera smoking a ciggy outside the courthouse, said, "It was just after arbitration and we weren't supposed to take money out of the restrictive account and we both did. I was found in contempt for doing so. I didn't realize, I thought I was just taking my paycheck out."
Well, not exactly Jon, but he says Kate was up to no good too. "[The money she took is] unaccounted for," he says. "So by Friday, we'll know her complete accounting, which might reduce my accounting, so I don't know what's going on. I'm gonna be truthful and abide by the court and I'll put it back. And she has to do the same."
Good idea. Just how much does Jon have to return? Most recent reports suggest $155,000, which, lucky for Jon, is $25,000 less than the $180,000 the arbitrator ruled on Tuesday.

This week, like every week, has been rough on old Dad Gosselin. Did you read what he did to offend some members of the Jewish community? Step away from the bacon and 23-year-old girlfriend, Jon.
