Jon Gosselin Rejected By NutriSystem

There's just one thing I want to remind you: Jon Gosselin used to be a computer technician.

Which is part of what makes his sweaty pursuit of onscreen fame so awkward. It's no secret Jon Gosselin is desperately hunting opportunities to remain in the public eye...and now Michael Lohan has reported that Jon approached the diet company NutriSystem to be a spokesperson...but it looks like there's no room for a Gosselin on their menu.

Can we blame them? Not really -- especially because always-trusty Michael Lohan was the one handling the negotiations. Apparently when Jon Gosselin got word that TLC was going to drop him from Jon & Kate Plus 8, he and Michael Lohan approached NutriSystem. Says Lohan, "I was negotiating a deal for Nutrisystem but when the negative press came out Nutrisystem ran for the hills."

Jon Gosselin may be running to the hills soon too -- according to witnesses that saw him doing yoga last week, Jon's really trying to get in better shape (as long as there are cameras around).
