Jon Gosselin Writing a Book on Parenting

Is it going in the humor section?

When someone writes a book, you generally expect them to be experts on the topic, right? Well, do you consider Jon Gosselin to be an expert on parenting? Ha! That's a laughing matter! But still, Jon is considering writing a parenting book. Someone please tell this man he is out of his mind!

It sounds like someone is a little jealous of all of Kate Gosselin's successes. And since Jon can't get his own reality show or entertainment gig, he's going for the next best: book writing. But come on, Jon, Kate has already written the books on parenting. Why don't you find something you're actually good at? Back in July, we learned Jon was writing a book, but now we're shocked to get details on it and to hear it will be about parenting!

Jon is allegedly planning to write a book with his "leadership coach," Dr. Sylvia Lafair.  A friend of Jon's tells PopEater, "Jon is still deciding what exactly the book will be about, but knows he wants to focus on his parenting skills... There is no deal yet or timeline, but the [interest] in Jon from publishers is huge right now, so he's going to strike while the iron is hot."

The interest from publishers is high? For Jon? We're having a really hard time believing that since we're really not sure who would buy a book from Jon Gosselin. Not to mention, a book on parenting. Though we suppose it could be quite entertaining. But still. No.

We have to laugh about what Jon is including in the book... And what he isn't. His friend says, "Expect the book to include Jon's journey from high school to father of sextuplets by age 27... What the book won't be focusing on is how quickly he moved on, after Kate, with two much younger girlfriends, his partying nights in Las Vegas or his new huge tattoo that covers his entire back."
