Jonas Brothers Got Trapped in an Elevator

The Jonas Brothers had panic set in when they were trapped in an elevator for a full 45 minutes. Imagine how much fun they would have had if the elevator were packed full of fans! They think they had it bad, but that would have been even worse.

The Jonas Brothers talked about their panic when they realized they were stuck in the elevator.

"We were stuck in an elevator with eight people and Big Rob," Joe Jonas said. "It was a 21-person elevator."

When asked who panicked first, Joe Jonas said that he and Nick started to get antsy first--but Nick disagreed!

"I didn't panic," Nick said, "I just didn't have my [blood-sugar] checker with me. No one had it on them, and I was afraid that if [my blood-sugar level] went low in an elevator we wouldn't be able to do anything about it."

Joe added that the situation quickly escalated. "It went from, 'Okay, this is hilarious, we're stuck in an elevator, okay press the button,' to 'This is crazy, okay, I can't breathe, this is insane,'" he said.

I don't blame Nick Jonas for getting nervous about his blood sugar. It's so easy to make fun of the Jonas Brothers, but at least Nick takes diabetes seriously and isn't being devil-may-care with his health. I am a claustrophobic and would be the first one hyperventilating in there!

As for the Jonas Brothers' escape? Well, it was facilitated by a squad of firemen. Definitely not the night out in Hollywood that everyone imagines.
