Journey's Neal Schon and Michaele Salahi Get Engaged
The Journey Rocker Asked Salahi to Marry Him During a Concert Sunday
Journey rocker Neal Schon has become engaged to Real Housewives alum Michaele Salahi, proposing to the controversy-stirring divorcee during a Journey concert in Maryland on Sunday.
Schon, 58, who has been dating Salahi since last year, called Salahi on stage during his band's benefit performance for the John Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center, TMZ.com reports.
He got down on one knee and proposed, she got teary and accepted, and then the band played one of its signature tunes, "Faithfully."
Salahi's publicist tweeted a confirmation of the news, The Washington Post reports. "BREAKING NEWS!!! Neal Schon proposes to Michaele Salahi at One Cause Benefit Concert. SHE SAID YES!!!" read the tweet.

Salahi, 47, was wed, until August, to Tareq Salahi, who was her husband and co-star on The Real Housewives of D.C.
The former couple made headlines in 2009 when they crashed a White House state dinner, a controversy that was featured on Real Housewives.
As for what Tareq Salahi is up to these days, no details on his love life (last we knew he was pining aay for Michaele), but he is reportedly planning to run for governor of Virginia next year.
Huh? So that means that Michaele Salahi gave up a shot at being the First Lady of Virginia to be the First Lady of aging rock. Hmmm.
There are no details available yet on when or where the couple will tie the knot, but as The Post points out, it's a safe bet the publicity-loving pair will let us all know much more than we want to.
