Julia Roberts' Beauty Secret? Baking Soda!
Julia Roberts Talks Beauty Secrets, Thoughts on Plastic Surgery
Want to get Julia Roberts' youthful glow? Just grab a box of baking soda.
In a new interview with InStyle magazine, Roberts revealed her old-fashioned beauty secret -- brushing her teeth with baking soda.
Roberts explained to InStyle, "[My grandfather] would put a big heaping mound of it on his toothbrush. He had only one cavity in his entire life."
As a busy mom, she says, "Sometimes that's all I do as far as a regimen goes," adding, "Look, I'm happy if I have on moisturizer and ChapStick!"
If only the rest of us could just skate by on moisturizer, baking soda and ChapStick.
Roberts explained, "When you're dressing three people besides yourself, something has to fall away. I've learned to always have a big pair of dark sunglasses within arm's reach before going out."
Ah yes, that's what I'm missing. Dark sunglasses.
Roberts does reveal that mascara "just makes you look like you've had a good nap," so when she has the time, that's her go-to beauty product.
And, the Oscar winner also dished on Botox and plastic surgery, saying, "I'm pro whatever works for you."
She added, "For me, at this point, I'm clinging to my good genes and lots of hugs and kisses from my husband."
Whatever she's got going on, it's working for her -- she's 44 and has aged beautifully.
