Kanye West Steals Taylor Swift's Spotlight

Poor Taylor!

We think it's safe to say Kanye West lost more than a few fans last night. By now you know how much we love Taylor Swift, so Kanye is definitely not high up on our list of favorite people for the way he treated Taylor Swift at the VMAs last night!

Taylor Swift won the VMA for best female video and was more than gracious in accepting her award. This was her first VMA and she said she couldn't believe she was winning one, especially considering she sings country music.

Enter Kanye West. Kanye gets on stage, takes the mic from Taylor Swift and tells her he'll let her finish in a second. Then he goes on to say Beyonce had the best video of all time, obviously implying she should have won the award instead of Taylor.

Poor Taylor Swift was speecheless! How dare Kanye West take away her moment like that! Luckily, when it came time for Beyonce to accept her award for Best Video, she invited Taylor up on stage to finish her speech. Talk about class!

We don't know what's wrong with Kanye West, but at the very least, he should leave the 19 year olds alone and pick on people his own age! He later "apologized" on his blog, but his post is full of sarcasm. And all capital letters, of course.

Are you less of a Kanye West fan after his crazy outburst? Even if you agree with him that Beyonce should have won, shouldn't he have waited until after Taylor had her moment to voice his opinion?
