Kate Gosselin Fights Back on 'Today': Video

Earlier today, we told you that Jon Gosselin cleaned out the bank account that he shared with Kate Gosselin. The Today show landed an exclusive interview with Kate Gosselin, who gave her side of the story.

Kate Gosselin talks about the $230,000 that Jon took from their joint account, about the future of Kate Plus 8 and even cries over the fear of not being able to provide for her children.

We were impressed that Kate remained calm throughout the interview. It looked like she got a little lump in her throat a couple of times, but she sounds like she is scared that Jon is going to wipe her out. Talking about Jon, she said, "You've left your children and their mother unable to pay for the roof over their head. It's unacceptable."

Last week, Jon halted the filming of the show claiming that the kids don't want to be on tv anymore. Kate says that her eight kids don't want the show to stop and that they love the crew and the events and that there is "nothing harmful about it." She said that the kids are angry that filming has stopped.

Is it possible for them to be friends? Meredith Vieira asked if Kate thought she and Jon could bury the hatchet. Kate said, "He has gone way far off the trail. I will keep peace where I need to keep peace...I can't sleep at night. I can't pay my bills....I think he is receiving bad advice. I think he is making bad decisions...call me crazy, I've said it before, but I'm still hoping that at some point I'll receive a phone call and the old Jon is back."  Check out part 1 of the interview over at msnbc.
