Kate Hudson and Minka Kelly Have Become Rivals

Kate Hudson and Minka Kelly are allegedly at war - over their love for baseball stars. Hudson has mostly been welcomed by New York Yankees players and fans after seeming to bring good luck to new man Alex Rodriguez.

But Minka appears to be the exception, giving Hudson, a frosty reception. Insiders are questioning if it is an extension of the long-running rivalry between her boyfriend Derek Jeter and Rodriguez. "There's been visible coldness between Minka and Kate," a Yankees insider said. "I don't know if it's a personal thing, or just an extension of the ongoing A-Rod-Jeter rivalry." Kevin Spence, who ranks player wives and girlfriends for a website, said: "It would be the best reality show ever if they would allow a camera to follow them around. I think tensions and jealousy will grow in time." Minka has been dating Yankees' captain Jeter since last year, although she has mostly kept a low profile. Hudson, however, has been a far more high-profile Yankee love interest with A-Rod, being snapped smooching him in the stands and recently switching from sitting in a private box to hanging in the family seats. Spokespeople for Hudson and Kelly did not respond to requests for comment.
