Kate Middleton to Ride in Princess Diana's Wedding Carriage
We love this.
It's another throwback to Princess Diana's wedding day: not only is Kate Middleton donning her late mother-in-law's engagement ring; she's also preparing to ride in the very carriage that whisked off Princess Diana and Prince Charles on their wedding day...first, however, it's said she'll show up to the wedding in a less-loved car owned by the Royal Family...
Remember last year when Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles were attacked by student protesters whilst riding in a Rolls Royce limousine? Interestingly, word has it Kate Middleton will head to Westminster Abbey for her April 29 wedding to Prince William in that very same limo -- it's bulletproof, and security for Kate the Great will indeed be great on her wedding day.
After she and Prince William say their vows, however, they'll climb into the 1902 carriage that drove Prince Charles and Princess Diana from their wedding in 1981. Prince Charles had actually arrived to the wedding at St. Paul's Cathedral in the State Landau, which was originally built specifically for King Edward VII.

The only complication would be London's challenging climate: word has it if Kate Middleton and Prince William have to contend with rain on their wedding day, yes, it could be good luck: but instead of the carriage, they'll ride in a glass coach built in 1881.
