Now we know the brand of Kate Middleton's hosiery for the royal wedding! For all those beginning to tire of 24/7 royal news, I think you should buckle up. I get a chuckle out of it, but some of this even throws me for a loop. Case in point: Kate Middleton's hosiery choice getting press mentions!

On the one hand, I appreciate and secretly congratulate any company that ties itself to Kate Middleton. It's a shrewd move and a moneymaker, and I tip my hat to businesses that can promote their products like this.
On the other hand, what Kate Middleton wears doesn't particularly thrill me. I like looking at her stuff, but there's not a single piece I would buy or hunt down. When she wore her Burberry jacket with the ruffle, I knew of people buying it, but skirt suits and semi-opaque hose aren't my thing.
The hosiery designated for Kate to wear on her wedding day is Aristoc, which is made in England.

"The Aristoc brand is manufactured in Derbyshire and is known for product innovation, beautiful manufacturing with back seams, great yarns and special expertise with shaping," a spokesperson told the press.
Hilariously-named Aristoc is actually owned by the same company that owns Pretty Polly, which is a popular and fun line of stockings in the United Kingdom. I think that Kate chose well, and I know the Aristoc press team is going out for champagne tonight, as they should.
