Katherine Heigl Dispenses Romance Tips
You're a Team, She Says
Katherine Heigl doesn't mess around when it comes to relationships. Even though Tinsel Town and beyond is rife with cheating (just look at LeAnn Rimes, cough), Katherine's using her film, The Ugly Truth, to talk about making marriage work. . . probably advice all of us should stow away.
"You have to remember you're a team - there's nothing more valuable," Heigl said. Now if only she could dispense some of that wisdom to her unmarried character on The Ugly Truth, who has a total OCD list of all the stuff her A-list man has to be (and do).
In fact, Heigl said that her character, Abby, is similar to her in many ways, just a "slight exaggeration" from her former still-dating self. "I'm very particular about how I like things and how I want things. And I went through the whole make-a-list [for the perfect mate] routine," Heigl said. "I haven't been around a lot of men who act like Mike Chadway, but I've been around a lot of men who joke like [him]," she said.
