Katherine Heigl Has a Fug New Haircut

Androgynous?

Wow, I hate Katherine Heigl's haircut so much. It looks like her genius hairstylist put her hair in a ponytail and lobbed it off, and maybe ran a brush through it. It's certainly no-nonsense, and it reminds me of a "mom cut" if nothing else.

Katherine wore her blonde locks brushed back behind her ears for her most recent outing, and PopEater labeled it "androgynous." That's interesting, and I suppose it is a boyish cut, but I see it more as plain old fug.

"Katherine's signature blond bouncy curls have been pitch perfect for her romantic comedy roles, but we have a feeling this new 'do could give Katherine the edge to take on some more demanding projects," PE reflects.

"She's certainly got the talent to make the switch." Bwaaa ha ha ha!

Does Katherine have the ability to head from a stream of rom-coms to something more subdued and serious? I bet she'd like to think so, but a haircut alone won't do the trick for a big Heigl change. If I were styling it, I would school her for tucking the bits behind her ears, and then I would either straighten it or give it some wave. I hate this au naturale look that Katherine has going on... something needs to be done.

I bet she'll change the length by this time next week. This cut looks transitional to me!
