Katie Holmes to Perform on "So You Think You Can Dance"

There's been some speculation about why Katie Holmes has been seen around dance studios. Is she practicing for something? Well, it appears the answer is yes. She will be performing a number on So You Think You Can Dance. So, did you know Katie Holmes could dance?
So You Think You Can Dance is the show that discovers unknown dancing talent. Are they about to discover Katie Holmes? She did so a brief little dance number on Eli Stone last season and she is frequently taking her daughter, Suri Cruise, to dance class; but is Katie Holmes an actual dancer?
The word is that she will be appearing on an upcoming episode of So You Think You Can Dance. According to a source, "She is working with the choreographer Tyce Diorio. They want it to seem like she waltzed in and put it together very quickly, but that's really not the case. This has been a longtime in the making."
The show's producer, Nigel Lythgoe, says it's jut a rumor at this point but that he'd love to have Katie on the show. Mary Murphy denied knowing anything, but in typical Mary Murphy fashion she screeched, "Would I love to have Tom Cruise in our audience?! You bet I would!!"
