We know you all loved last week's story on Katy Perry being voted #1 on Maxim's Hot 100 list for 2010, but she'll be married to one of Britain's funniest (and most controversial) men in just a few months. New report: Katy Perry and Russell Brand have set their wedding date.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand sent out dozens of October save-the-dates to family and friend invitees, as Perry has stated that their pair plan to have a very small wedding. The October Perry-Brand nuptials fall just a year after the couple's first hookup at the VMAs last September. Looks like it may be a mega-celebration, as Katy Perry's 26th birthday falls on October 25th and a British newspaper reports the save-the-dates as reading, "Save the week [of October 18-25], for the wedding of Katy & Russell. You will be contacted soon with more information." (By the way, Russell Brand will turn 35 years old in June.)

Russell Brand proposed to Katy Perry last December, and they've been considerably open about their status as a couple throughout their nine-month romance. Reports surfaced a few months ago that Katy Perry was pregnant, thanks to a hoax she was playing on her Twitter followers.
