Katy Perry Asks Lindsay Lohan to Be Maid of Honor

Whoops, this was quite the accident. And it will probably have Lindsay Lohan scarred for quite a while. Katy Perry accidentally asked Lindsay Lohan to be her maid of honor... And now Lindsay thinks she'll be playing a part in planning the wedding!

A serious friendship with Katy Perry could be just the thing Lindsay Lohan needs to get her career back on track. But we can't really see Katy befriending Lindsay enough to make her a very close friend. And certainly not enough to make her the maid of honor in her upcoming wedding to Russell Brand.

But after hanging out with Katy Perry at Coachella, drinking, and joking around, Lindsay Lohan mistakenly thinks she's in the wedding. According to a source to Britain's Daily Star:

"Both the girls were having a right laugh, talking about Katy's wedding and their plans over summer. At one point Katy joked that Lindsay would be her perfect maid of honor. Katy was in high spirits and obviously just messing around. But before she knew it Lindsay was telling everyone she couldn't wait to be part of the ceremony and as maid of honour it was her job to sort out the hen night. Katy didn't know what to say or where to look. It started to get embarrassing for everyone. She obviously didn't mean it as a serious invitation."

Oops. That will teach Katy Perry from being overly friendly to Lindsay Lohan. Of course, we've been hearing that Rihanna will be planning the bachelorette party for Katy and we're sure she won't be happy if Lindsay Lohan tries to butt in. Katy Perry, good luck sorting this one out without hurting Lindsay Lohan's feelings too much; she's probably a bit fragile right now.
