It's something we in the US would like to see more of: artists covering their friends'-slash-competitors' work. Katy Perry displayed her love of Lady Gaga -- and some serious singing chops -- in Paris this week. Check out vid of Katy Perry covering Gaga's "Born This Way."

Katy Perry slammed Lady Gaga over the use of Christian symbolism and artifacts in the "Alejandro" video when it exploded last spring, tweeting, "Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke." Later in interviews, Katy stood by her tweet, saying she has to remind even her husband Russell Brand that to her, faith is sacred.

Looks like Perry has kissed a girl again...or at least, made up. Katy and Lady seem to be proper chums again, as Katy took the microphone for a smooth and stripped-down version of "Born This Way" in Paris, where she's been hanging out for Fashion Week. You'll see in the video how crazy the crowd went when they realized where Katy was taking the somewhat unfamiliar acoustic. Doesn't she rock?
