Perry reportedly became a Popchips fan after sampling the salty snack from a hotel minibar while promoting her 3D concert film Part of Me.

Perry, who's also a spokesperson for Proactiv, joins Ashton Kutcher as Popchips' celebrity rep, though hopefully her Popchips ad campaign -- which will debut in the fall -- won't create the backlash Kutcher's did in May.

The Popchips gig caps a busy news week for Perry; before it was overshadowed by the Kristen Stewart cheating scandal, one of US Weekly's biggest new headlines trumpets the ex-Mrs. Russell Brand's alleged new fling with fellow singer John Mayer.
