Katy Perry's New Album: Teenage Wet Dream?

Katy Perry recently revealed to MTV News why she decided to name her upcoming album Teenage Dream. Does it have anything to do with a teenage wet dream? Well, it sounds like Katy Perry would like to think so.

OK, so Katy Perry really wants her album to take you back to your teenage dreams. We think. And that's an idea we can really get behind. She tells MTV News, "I want to call it Teenage Dream because there's a song on the record [called that] and I wrote that song in Santa Barbara and it was a very pure moment for me, because that's where I'm from... And it was, like, where I started my creative juices. And also it kind of exudes this euphoric feeling because everybody remembers what their teenage dreams were - all the girls that were on your poster walls." It's true. Music played a lot into all of our teenage dreams.

But it sounds like Katy Perry also wants to be a bit of a dream to all her current teenage fans. Maybe even a wet dream. And since she has that total pinup girl look, we can see teenagers all over the world hanging Katy Perry posters on their walls. She says, "And I want to continue to be one of those ... teenage wet dreams."
