Katy Perry isn't even divorced from husband Russell Brand yet, but her pushy parents already have husband number two picked out. Pastors Keith and Mary Hudson want to set their daughter up with religious NFL hunk Tim Tebow.

According to OK! magazine, the Hudsons want to set up a meeting between their daughter and Tebow at their church in Huntington Beach, California. A source told the publication that Perry's "mentioned on more than one occasion how much she likes Tim. Katy’s mom firmly believes the best cure for heartache is to quickly fall in love again. . . In her mind, Tebow is the perfect guy for her daughter. He’s handsome, charming, intelligent and above all, a good Christian."
If Perry isn't yet over her split from Brand, you can sure as hell bet that her parents are. In fact, the Hudson's are seeing the divorce as a blessing, a way to put more butts on their pews. As Perry's mom preached to her congregation earlier this month, she remarked:
"I'm sure that Katy's trending on the Internet was to get you here to church tonight. I mean all over the world, who knows how God is bringing them in? The most important thing is you are here and God wants to put the fire in you in 2012."

The Perry parents are now trying to book both their daughter and Tebow for a simultaneous appearance at their Church; hoping that Fireworks will spark between the pair. We have to question whether Momma really knows best in this situation. Shouldn't Katy Perry be enjoying her time as a singleton for now?
