Ke$ha's Complains About Britney Spears' Lip Synching
Ke$ha says lip synching's "bullsh*t."
Tell us how you really feel, Ke$ha! The daring songstress recently took aim at Britney Spears' singing abilities in a recent interview, saying that she shouldn't lipsynch at concerts out of respect for her fans. She must feel really passionately about it, too, 'cause she went on some some time about the drama.
Ke$ha, who is featured on Britney's Lace and Leather, has some very strong opinions about Britney's music. Here are some of the highlights:
On Lip Synching in General
"I think that's bulls***. I don't think that's fair at all for people who are going to see the show. I think if you are going to be a singer, you should sing. If you are going to be a dancer, you should dance."
On Why Ke$ha Doesn't Lip Synch
"It's treating people as if they are too stupid to realize you are not actually singing. Sometimes it is hard to sing and dance at the same time but I would rather be off and be real and genuine about it to my fans. I don't want to treat my fans like they are stupid."
On Being "Super-Honest"
"That is my take on my fans and life in general. My whole record is super-honest. I am really honest. When I am singing I may sound s*** sometimes but at least you'll know I'm singing."
Does Ke$ha have a point? I think she does, but it's always awkward when underlings try to take down mega-stars. Why trumpet your opinions about lip synching while simultaneously complaining about someone else in the biz? Can't you just say how you feel about lip synching without a stab in the back?
